Digital Tach & Amp meters - Where can I get?
 

I would like to add a digital Tach and amp gages to my '81 240D. I have searched the web and all the digital Tachs I've found do not say they work with diesel engines.

Any help on locating these is appreciated.

The only one I know of is Tinytach.com. I have one on my boat and it uses a transducer to "listen" for the injector pulse. $60-70.

For a car, it's not that great since the refresh rate is slow. But if you want to know the engine's speed on the highway, it works.
