caliper rebuild

Do you guys always set the piston angle when rebuilding brake calipers???The manuals say it`s needed to reduce the brake pads` tendency to sqeak....I ask because when I was rebuilding mine,I had no idea about observing the piston lug position(20 gedrees) and I don`t remember seeing any lug on the bloody pistons Apart from not gaining that effect,is there any potential hazard???(Well,I`m sure I didn`t set the angle but the pads don`t sqeak....)

Here`s a link about Porsche, but the calipers are ATE

The purpose of the piston orientation is to put more pressure on the aft portion of the pad to reduce the tendancy of squealing.

If your pads don't squeal, I'd leave it alone.
