I assume this is a Euro model and you are in europe. I don't think other then the sprinter owners that there are many cdi owners here. Any E320 CDI drivers in this forum. CDI is pretty new to the US.

Most of us are in the states, and the CDI's are still new for us.

The E320 CDI has been out for only a year, but the sprinters have been around for a couple though.

I drove an E320 CDI at the invitation of the local MB dealership.

I was in the market for a new car, had been saving for a while, and wanted something nice.

But they wanted so much - $56,000 sticker - and it would have been over $60,000 when it was all said and done after taxes and all the other crap.

So I bought a really nice 240D instead, and used the rest of the money on a down payment on the house I now live in.

Snow,

Reliability of newer MB has been terrible. I wouldn't buy one. Aluminum heads, aluminum/plastic radiators are not marks of a quality built car.

Wait a minute. Both of my 20 year old benz's have plastic radiators. I just about bought a 20 year old 230e (123 car) and it ran great with 240,000 miles. Give this new car a chance. Look and see how long the rest last in comparison. I can't wait 5 years to see some of the other brands in U pull-it yards.
