I am going to replace the motor mounts on the car. Can someone chime in on how to go about this.

1. put car on ramp or lift.
2. put wood under pan and jack up motor enough to unload mount.
3. remove bolts holding mount.
4. jack motor higher to get moount out.
4.. install new mount and bolts.
5. repeat on other side.
6. clean up
7. brag to wife or friend how you just saved $300 labor.

I just got done replacing my drivers side mount. Dieselarchitect gave a pretty good description of the procedure - the only thing I would add is that you can remove the mounting bolts before jacking the motor up, which may save you a step.
