The 76 300D is back on the road!
Well..after a long Diesel Hiatus, the 76 300D is back on the road and performing like a champ so far. Registered it today, drove it to Newport this evening. No hiccups. Friends commented about "comfortable seats" and "solid doors"
Its good to be back in the Benz. All it needed was a new exhaust, some oil on the throttle levers, and a thorough cleaning. I am getting to the body soon, and the brakes seem to be wearing themselves in nicely. I'll have pics soon. Thanks for all your help guys! BTW...a W115, black, black hubcaps to match, and a tan interior...Does that sound to stark to you guys?

Sounds nice. I owned a '76 300D, silver with black interior. Used the dash out of it (yet to be installed ) for a donor for my '71 220 stick shift (GASSER!)
