82 300 SD. Guys I need your expertise here. I took the center console out and I see the connections to the switches( windows,emergency flasher,antenna,etc) also the 2 connections to the ACC and the connection to the cigar &light to the ashtray. Here is the problem, I found 4 cut wires (2 yellow/black/green and 1 brown) and 1 Blue/red and another group of wires on a plastic sleeve comprise of ( 2 Red/White and 2 Grey and Violet) on a connector that have the letter K and a part # 0085450828 these wires are totally melted ,fried. The connection to the radio is totally hack (non original radio). Can you help me identifying these connections and where they go, I can't find them in the electrical schematic that I have.

The four wires you identified are the original wires to the radio.

Black/yellow: 12V switched
Red/white: 12V constant
Gray/purple: illumination
Brown: ground

Thanks, can you tell me the sequence or matching of the cables. The connector is a 2 connection female (2 Red/White and 2 Grey/Purple) Do I have to get a male connector ?
and if I do Which one will go to the Red/White and to the Grey/Violet.
