Ebay purchase-4555762120

I just bought this nice 300 D last week. I have tried really hard to like it. I am a tinkerer by nature and I appreciate the simplicty of these cars and this forum really helps the amateur. That being said, I think I may let it go. I just don't really love the car. I have driven it over a 1000 miles in the last ten days. I changed the oil, filters, adjusted the valves, cleaned the banjo, etc. Runs like a champ. So, will I get my money back out of it? It is probably better than represented in the auction by the previous seller and has received some love while with me. I am looking to get my money back and get back to what I love which is old army truck restorations. The car is nice but it was a "what was I thinking moment" I have those a lot...

It's quite a good looking vehicle. I don't think that $4200. is out of line for this vehicle, by just perusing the photos. That said, I would not pay this much money for a W123 without confirming that everything is functional and that the body is in excellent condition.

The photos are not the close up shots necessary to truly tell the condition of the paint and the body.

It is really nice. Everything works and the body is straight as an arrow and rust free. I was pleased with the seller. He underpromised and overdelivered so to speak. I intend to take more detailed pics and a better description.

You might consider using a server off e-bay where you can host your own high quality photos. I'm quite convinced that the six $hitty photos that e-bay gives you are costing you at least $500.00 in value. Of course, this presumes that you have a very good looking body and interior to photograph.
