24 year old a/c just blowing cool air here is what i did.
I did some research and found R-12 but they wanted $100 to put it in and
100 dollars a pound.. so i kept searching i found this stuff called freeze 12
it said it replaces r-12... i did some research and found that you could add this stuff to r-12.... but they wont tell you that because of the epa... so i
added a can of freeze 12 to my system and now i rush to work becasue i get cold in the car...

Cool!

Where can you buy the hose that connects the can of coolant with the fitting on the car?

Thumbs down uh-oh, here come the freon police!!!

Aargh!! Don't mix refrigerants, it'll cause contaminated recovery units/tanks, premature follicular degeneration, men and women living together, the end of life as we know it!!! (plus it gets the EPA all excited)

Sigh.... I'm with you on this. I've written so much about this that I just can't write any more.

If it weren't for all this junk refrigerant out there I would be able to help more people with their a/c's. I recovered some 134 from a car Saturday, but ONLY because I charged that guys car myself so I know that it was 134 going in my 134 tank. So many people put junk in their systems and I don't have a refrigerant identifier so I can't take the risk of contaminating my recovery systems. They don't realize when they do this that they are keeping others from helping them.

Have a great day,
