Tach pickup source for 94 S350 T- Diesel.

I need help from the Diesel experts here.. Where is the source for the rpm (tach) pickup signal for W140 , 94 S350 Diesel? The eary model (w116) uses the pickup pin on the flywheel.. wonder the W140 still use the same technique. Thanks in advance.
