Euro headlight switch for 124

Okay I am confused (again) the euro headlight switch that I am installing on my 92 300d to control the headlights has three connectors on the back. Most of the instruction I have seen only deal with two.

What do the three connections for???

there should be 3 lines going from the back of the switch, this is how it is on mine.
