Wink Pre-Chamber Diesel leak My 300D

It has been determined that My 1976 300D is leaking Diesel from inside the head near the pre-chamber. We are looking at the seals being the culprit. I was told there is a special tool needed to remove the injector from the pre-chamber or head. I also heard that this tool is not manufactured my MB any more. Where can I find this tool or substitute??? It is not a big deal that I fix the leak, but I just notice the leak when I look at my fuel gauge, especially after traveling on trips 30 min+. I also have a wet left rear floorboard, heard there is a drain in the wheel well that needs to be drained?????????? What is this all about?

Ok , I read your post wrong at first.....
There is a bent shank line wrench type tool available for getting the injector lines loose and tight without messing up anything...
But the injectors themselves can be taken out with a Sears 27 mm DEEP Socket... about $8 when I got one a couple of years ago...
the next step, the precombustion chamber is more serious ... but the first nut holding the precombustion chambers in can be loosened with a tool from Performance Products also...a slot nut driver..

There are two tools available for the actual pulling of the precombustion chambers... one is a screw arrangment, slow deliberate application of force... about $325 ... and the other a slide hammer.. much much less... and may can be borrowed from the thread in the sticky's at the top of the page.... If not there then Performance Products either sells them or rents them...

There are several possibilities on the leak... and most have been discussed well in the archives... the search feature works pretty well...

Try and get a picture of the exact spot of the leak- If you're lucky it may just be the injector seals.
