Is that the color that you used on your headlight trim panels?

You need a set of headlight wipers to make it look complete.

Thanks
David

I just emailed carson356 to acquire the remainin parts..............

My local MB Dealer does not want to get in volved in 'Grey Market' parts - even if paid in full in advance.

Stephen

PS - The picture does not do the grill justice - It looks great - especially from a distance............... One of the best '1 hour' projects I have performed - mucho satisfaction.............

Oh, I just now noticed that. Do you happen to have a before picture to compare? I've thought about doing this but wasn't 100% sure yet.

Thanks
David

I think I'm going to try that maybe this weekend? We'll have to see on that one. BTW, is your car 199 pearl black?

Thanks
David

Interior is Burgundy

I have the same color on my car. Interesting because I know of another member here who lives 45 minutes from me and his parts SDL is pearl black. Must have been a pretty popular color for the SDL purchasers. I have to say though, I wish mine was gloss black. That color looks great on any MB. Always a classic.

Thanks

Although the Gloss Black is very nice looking - I have come to appreciate the metallic black - The 1994 Saab Commemorative Ediition next to it - now sold - was one of 500 made and was in Metallic Black - only year of that color for the drop tops..........

Nice! I think this weekend I will give that a try. I have been going back and forth about whether I want my grill painted. But I think I will give it a try.

Next I need a set of Euro lights!

You and I have chatted about this briefly.........

I took the plunge....... Only because I talked with someone at the hardware store and he pointed me in the direction of the Krylon Fusion.

FYI - Even my wife thinks it looks much better - Go Figure!!!!!!!

If you are not happy - I WILL REFUND THE COST OF THE PAINT!!!!!!!!

What are friends for???????????????

Black grills do look good. I have one of those carbon fiber SEC style grills sitting in my basement. If it didn't have that huge star in the center I would use it.

How much is the paint $5? It will probably be the cheapist thing I have done to this car!

I love your clear corners btw, where did you get them? They are far nicer then mine.

I think this Christmas Santa may bring me some Bosch Euro's if I'm good.

Those are 'Smoked' corner lights off of ebay..............

I did ask a few of the other buyers if they were happy with their purchase and all came back with a positive answer................

I'll try and find the seller - they were out of Canada. Search on smoked w126

I also used the 'Silverstar' bulbs to get rid of the 'Scambled Eggs' efect.

I just need to finish the Wiper issue - I have PM'd carson356......... My local MB dealer does not want to order the parts for me.

Stephen
