92 2.5 turbo running hot problem found! By accident

My car would run hot on the freeway. Almost to the red with the AC on.
Had my radiator cleaned out, replaced hoses, thermostat, and fan. Could not find problem.

The auxiliary fans did not run fast. I decided to replace them. When I took out the auxiliary fan shroud - I found the problem. The condenser was extremely dirty and blocked.

When I looked in the fan shroud the bottom was filled with dirt, hair, small pieces of wood, hair and the bottom section was completely blocked. Took the air hose to it and cleaned it out.

New auxiliary fans spin great. Fist time my car ran a little bit above 85 with the AC on.

Grrrrrrrr. To trial and error

My 2.5T runs hot with A/C on long uphill grades, sometimes hitting 115C. I'll check my shroud. Otherwise, it runs normally, around 85C.

Put your hand near the engine when running Aux fans. Engine not running.

Before I could never feel the air coming through.

Now I feel quite a bit of air coming through.

U folks should check how hot the A/C Condenser, rad gets when u have the A/C on.
Is like leaving a BBQ stove infront of the rad.

Cars like Jag V12 will roast the engine if the rad/ condenser got plugged up with dirt.
The valves simply drop. Not funny at all.

It sounds like you may have run over a tree hugging hippy.
