Just got a SD....many ?'s

Hey guys/gals I just bought a 1982 300SD. I am new to the forum so please take it easy on me

Car was near a fire and had the car cover melt to the paint... Car has 137,000 miles on it. I have alot of issues and a ton of interior parts dont work and I alreayd replaced to headlight assemblies and have to replace the seats, paint and lower moulding. Where does someone go to get lower moulding for the exterior? The boost dump vaccum line was taken off and I am also wondering if this will cause issues for my motor. It drives smooth with the exception of the drivers side brake rotor....after it sat the rotor seems to swell....is that possible? I can feel and see where the pad was on the rotor. A friend turned me onto these little beasts and he mixes his own bio-diesel...he may even be a member here...

Kris ya out there?

Welcome to the forum.

And congrats on getting a benz.

Get together a list of things you need and email them to me. I can pass along your request to my network of mercedes dismantlers and you'll be able to get all the parts you need.

Use the search function in this forum for a wealth of information. Mercedes are engineered like no other car in the world.
