Got mad and slammed the driver's side door of my 300D and the window shattered. Anyone know where I can get a driver's side window cheap?

I had the front passenger window replaced on my SD replaced next-day by AutoGlass Specialists around here, total was $128 for the window and onsite installation, not bad! Dealer wanted 3x that much, and I'd have had to bring it to them!

I did that on a Suburban once, so I've learned that lesson already. Find it used at a junkyard or local paper where people sell car parts. In CT, that's usually Bargain News.

well, i found a window easy enough. now getting it in isnt as easy as it looks. Do I need to take it off the new track and put it on the old one, or is there a way to get at the inside of the door and replace it with the new track. i took out every bolt and screw in the door and the metal cover uner the plastic liner isnt coming off...am i doing it right at all?
