We just bought the Euro lights on ebay for the 1992 300D on ebay. A totally different look and it was well worth it..... we picked up PIAA h3 and h4 bulbs, one pair were the "super white" and the fog lights were "ion yellow." It looks really good.

Do a search for Euro lights, and you'll get a ton of hits.

Use a little caution with those lights listed on Ebay. They’re aftermarket lights made by a company called “Depo”. Being in the auto collision business I’ve got a lot experience with that brand and not much of it has been good.

There’s a place called Peninsula Imports in Buffalo N.Y. that has the factory Hella lights in stock last time I checked. (Just bought one for a 126 body a couple months ago). The phone number is 716-833-3000

Many of us have purchased the Depo's for the W126 and have favorable comments regarding their light output.

What's the beef with them specifically regarding these headlights?

Hella never produced headlights for w126. All OE w126 Euro headlights were made by Bosch.
