Thumbs up 4.6Mil Km Benz

The world record holder for high mileage is a 240D which was retired to the Benz museum at 4,6000,000 Km. It served as a Greek taxi.

I heard about this...

I thought it was a 123 chassis, though.

I feel a bit chagrined.

If I remember the story right "after" the guy bought it used for Taxi use. He had three engines her rotated. He would pull one, maintain it or rebuild it while driving with other engine. He kept rotating them. I don't remember it having said anything about the transmision though.
