the second picture is mr shlomo up on the jack looking sad, thats mr leon in the background, i dont drive him as much anymore, he takes the expensive smelly fuel and doesnt clatter!

i hear that one needs the part number to purchase parts at the dealer? will they not look it up for me? will it be ok for me to drive with this banging till a mail-order part comes in?

sorry for all the questions, i thought this was the problem, but the parts looked very different!

You need to use the camera flash or put a light on what you are taking pictures of... it would be a guess as to what is broken until we can see it...

The part has been upgraded on the 79 240D to a plastic link. The old style that you have is a 115 part, I believe. Just get two of the new ones and do both sides.

i just went ahead and bought the parts at the dealership.

my mother wanted to look at a little c240(she thinks its the same as my 240....) so we took a fieldtrip.

that little c240 is a CUTE wagon!

the plastic link seems fine. prob lighter than the old style and just as tough.
