Will someone peek under their car? Where do these spacers go?

I am reinstalling my new A/C compressor and something doesn’t add up with these spacers. I would have bet 37 cents that the thicker spacer was the one above the A/C lines. However it doesn’t seem to fit (too thick) while it’s nearly perfect if I put it on the bolt closest to the engine.

I wouldn’t have a question of the thin one fit on the bolt above the A/C lines. It is much too thin. Am I missing another washer/spacer?

Thanks in advance / DAMN IT’S HOT

You missing one.
The thickest one goes at the fastener closest to the block, I think the one in your righthandmost photograph goes underneath the long spacer on the other side of the engine mount bracket on the same fastener as it is shown on. You are missing the middle sized spacer which goes on the fastener that you have pictured. I have had good luck picking them up at pull a parts type places.

I have attached a pic - this is NOT a pic from my car.

I am amazed and of course jeolous when I read about anyone being able to go to a "pull a part type places." Why not in rural NH?

Here is the way my '82 300D is configured.

When viewed from the rear, the bolt at 9 o'clock has a 10mm (thickness) spacer. The bolt at 4 o'clock has a 14mm spacer. The pivot bolt at 2 o'clock has no spacer. There is also a 5mm spacer at the rear of the compressor mount on the bolt with the long sleeve (pipe) spacer.
The parts catalog appears to be in agreement with this configuration.

Great that information helps out a lot. It looks like someone stole my 10mm spacer, damn thieves. I see where the 5mm one goes now. It’s going to be another expensive trip to the Mercedes dealership. Wait, nevermind I am going to stick 10mm worth of washers in there.
