Weird Vaccum lock Situation

Hey guys,

Heres the situation...I can unlock my drivers side door and it unlocks the passenger side door as well, but not the rear doors, trunk or fuel cap cover. Strange thing is though, that after ive unlocked my drivers side door (thereby unlocking the passenger side door as well), If i go and unlock the trunk suddenly everything else unlocks. Is something clogged? Ive searched lots of posts, but have npt come across these symptoms. Any help would really be appreciated.

Could it be a leak instead of a clog? Such that manually unlocking the trunk stops the leak? A lot of times the lock actuators will leak only in one position-locked or unlocked.

Most common actuator failure is the gas door one, as it sits in a little steel compartment that reaches 176 degrees F....I've measured the temperature in there on a sunny day. The next thing is the trunk actuator and the line up to it.
Check also, the amount of vacuum you are getting.....should be around 22 inches with engine running.

I use a A/C vacuum pump hooked up to the main vacuum line in the engine bay to test the system as it is quieter and no need to run the engine.

Door hing area is where cracks and splits in the plastic lines occur.

You won't need the engine running on the W126 series. The vacuum for the door locks, trunk and fuel door is provided by a small pump in the corner of the spare tire well.

Sounds like a leak at the trunk actuator. That one should be pretty easy to get to. In fact the SD has a trunk large enough to lay down in easily.
