Looking for the location

of the cruise control amp in a 190D. CD manual is a royal pita, I could damn near dismantle the car faster than find anything useful on the CD.

it should be below the instrument cluster area,, above the drivers feet

Thanks for the reply but, although that is the location on my 300SD, it doesn't appear to be there on the 190D. I have removed the underdash covers on both sides, driver's & passenger's, and there is no sign of the cc amp on either side.

i just looked at my manual, it shows it located under the passengers carpet, behind the plastic cover on the firewall.
