Ideas for bracketting seats back in
'79 300D
I had to replace the floor panels on my beauty. I ordered floor panels from http://www.kkmfg.com/ which, btw, I highly recommend.... Anyway... these floor panels do not come with seat brackets. So right now I'm thinking of welding some heavy duty steel to the floor, welding door pulls to that, drilling a whole in the door pull, using threaded rod and locknutting it down on both sides of the door pull, then locknutting the threaded rod down to the seat slider. Seems kinda cumbersome. Any other ideas? |
