Good question, I've never heard of one. I can think of a few "challenges" to a diesel bike. Weight, due to higher compression, bigger starter, bigger battery. Less HP/lb, horsepower is more important than torque in a bike under most conditions and I don't think a diesel bike would be real zippy. Marketing, Other than some people here, I'm not sure there would be much market, bikes already get decent mileage and diesels don't have a very sporty image. Having said all that, I might be interested (it can't be much slower than my BMW).

Out here in India, they put a Greaves pumpset engine in the chassis of Royal Enfield bike which is made and sold here. It is extremely popular in rural areas where the roads don't permit speed and economy is needed, it's slow, heavy and is limited to 45mph top speed.

Cool, It's the Hummer of motorcycles. This is the first I've heard of it. Maybe I should get out more.
