rear axel fluid
My 95 E300D rear needs SAE90,85W90 fluid. Can't find any Mobil One with those numbers. What else can I use, in mobil one?

75 W 90 works for both my 82 300D Turbo and 93 300D 2.5L

Royal Purple
One of the finest fluids going. My buddy at work put Royal Purple tranny fluid, oil, and diff fluid in his Nissan pickup, and his rpm's at 60mph dropped by 700!
I can't afford probably to use their motor oil every time, but I will use their diff fluid and tranny fluid next time.

sorry.....what?
700 rpm drop at 60? that is about enough to have shifted a gear or so. how could that be corrected by changing brands of fluid?

Even getting rid of all the torque converter slip would only net about 200-300rpm.....I agree, how is that possible? Unless the nissan trucks have reeeal slippery torque converters? Thats the only thing I can think of....
