knock in 300 diesel
Well-pulled off the valve cover today to see what the noise was.Everything looked good, checked valve clearance-ok. So I juess my next step is to pull the head off. Must be a piston making the noise. I was looking at the head bolts on the motor. They are a torque head.Does anyone know what size the torque it is and where you can get them?thanks

Why not try a compression test?
If your head looks good, try a compression test before yanking the head off, if it's good, I'd look everywhere else before cracking the engine open.
Just my .02
