300SDL in No Cal, crate engine and looks nice
 

Its worth reading the description on this even if you are not in the market for an SDL. Owner seems like someone you could trust, not a dealer.

Looks nice. I'm nearly in the market for a 300SDL... just a bit early for me, though.

Anyone near this vehicle to take a look at it?

Nice color combo! I haven't seen one like that before... and I saw a blue one with a grey interior today. :)

His comment about the oil pressure at idle being something special isn't true...

You can always tell when fall is around the corner, as the diesel car market gets larger ;)

There's a white one here that I've been calling on and calling on for one of my brothers. It's an '87 also with a maroon interior... it's been sitting at the local AutoZone for over a month in the same parking spot. It's got a decent repaint on it and the interior looks pretty nice still.

Best I can tell it was scooped up at the local dealer auctions due to the writing on the windows and stopped there due to some problems. In the backseat had some documents for their dealer lot.

If it's been sitting this long, they'd probably let it go for next to nothing... or I can hope for that just like the other one. :D
