Somebody should have taken last years offer!!!

http://cgi.ebay.ca/very-reliable-diesel-collectors-Mercedes_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6330QQitemZ4583238132QQrdZ1

Is it "collectors" because of the way it sits so stylishly low in the rear, or that the alloy wheels with the offset used by a 190 buldge out in front, and all but hide themselves inside the rear wheel well....or is it the unique two-tone paint on the front fender.....hmmmmm who wouldn't offer $14,000?????? With all the work he's recently done, where is that person NOW????? Sorry, just wanted to share the fun I have lookng on eBay!

Hey Randy, I've got two very nice geared wheels for one of those Gravely tractors. If you can use them, you can have them for free.

Don't lump Gravely's into that Evil Category

They are not evil once you understand who is in charge... it is not you. Although Randy was not using a Gravely ... in fact his walkbehind HAD NO REVERSE...
and he tells a funny story about having to LET GO of it...and it going SUBMERGED under the briers WITHOUT HIM....
But once you give up your macho vision of controlling them.. they are wonderful machines.... my first hour with one was like Randy described... it wore me plumb OUT... had to get cleaned up and go to bed .. and I am not kidding...

There never any question about who/what was in charge...it was always the billy goat!!!!

Actually, with the billy goat/brierpatch encounter,
it was more like those poor sods that paniced and
held onto the blimp's groundline and were inadvertantly
yanked up into the air and to their death. If I'd let go
of the controls more quickly, the machine would have
only been half-buried in the Greenbrier. As it turned
out, I didn't let go soon enough and was dragged,
kicking and screaming into the brier.

I barely escaped with my life.

SWMBO had to come in from the downhill side of the
brierpatch with Shiva the brushcutter and free the
danged machine.
