1993 2.5 300D How do you remove & replace the glow plugs? Their buried!

Just bought a 93 300D and I want to replace the glow plugs. How do you access them for removal? These babies seem to be buried under the air intake manifold!

In a way you answered your own post - the intake manifold needs to come off.

It's not a big deal, I just did my '88 190D. Plan on breaking then replacing the plastic clips that hold the injector lines, the PVC tubes from the valve cover to each intake runner and the intake gasket probably won't make it either. The clips and tubes can be changed after things are together.

Hey Ice, are you melting or what? :P Intake manifolds are easy, I'm just looking for any special procedures someone might have documented. There's a bunch of accelerator stuff sitting on top of the manifold.

When I do it, I'll take some pics. It might be quite a while. I'm pretty busy.
