E85?

I just about flipped out when I looked at the pumps, and the price was $1.80... Then realized this was E-85, and we were in my moms 04 grand prix (not capibal according to their list at www.e85fuel.com ) I noticed that their list only goes back to around 1999 vehicals. Can I run this in my 76 300d, with the 617OM? This stuff comes out of my backyard (Wisconsin farmers produce alot of Ethonal, NOT the opce )

So can I run this in the benz without hurting it? In blends? Or should I not use it unless its an emergancy, and should expect expensive repairs would result (does it eat fuel lines?)

Bacicly I'm asking what everybody knows about e85... AND I might save somebody a buck or two a gallon IF they got a capibal vehical...

Thanks alot
~Nate (in study hall right now... but no HW, yet I gotta stay )
