2.39?! WOW.....thats only 22 miles away, I should go there.

It would cost me $14 less to fill up there than it would up the street......I am pondering this.....because 50 miles would only be about $4-5 of fuel....and I'd still save like $10........and if I fill all my cans, I'd save even more......

Exclamation

Yeah right... I was gouged for 3.79 for D a couple of days ago at a Marathon station in West Palm Beach, FL.
Didn't see the price until I was pumping, so under the circumstances I only put in $40 instead of filling up.....

Otherwise the Shell here in Boca is still at 3.19 same as last few weeks.

I envy the people in Zeeland MI! Its only 22 miles away but they're paying over 80 cents less than I am for diesel up the street! I will drive out there next week with cans in the trunk and fill up massively unless it falls to a more reasonable level here in town soon. I am still over half tank, I've got a good 215 miles of driving before I need to look into filling up. The prices here have receeded from the insane 3.49 and 3.59 of last week, but its falling very slowly, currently it ranges from 3.19 to 3.25 and some places are still at 3.59 because they're crooks......

Zeeland here I come.

Ours is still up at $2.79 for the lowest in town, and $2.99 tops. But that's down two or three dimes from a day or two ago, when it was $2.99 to $3.29.

Kansas City, Missouri area: prices range from $2.89 to $3.09. Cheaper but not cheap enough, considering regular gas is going for anything between $1.96 and $2.07 in the same area.

In Annapolis, MD, the Exxon down the street from my house is $3.31/gallon, while the independent station 2 miles away is $2.79/gallon.

It is because of that ridiculous difference in prices within such a short distance that the website GasBuddy.com was created. Just using it for my area (MissouriGasPrices.com), reveals no such insane difference in diesel prices, but for regular gasoline, I can see that at one station here it is sold for $2.17 right now and 1.9 miles north of it, it is being sold for $1.89!

Always utilize that website (or its corresponding local site for your area) to check for prices before you refuel. Could save you some big bucks.

Diesel now $2.49 at my normal station in Chester.

I've never understood how some people fail to comparison shop for fuel. On Midlothian Turnpike we have two separate stations on the same patch of concrete, no dividers or barriers to traffic between them at all. BP and Citgo IIRC. BP's pumps are about 20 yards of open pavement from the nearest pumps of Citgo.

Monday, BP's RUG was $0.30 / gal higher than Citgo and just as many people were filling up at each station. Adam Smith's corpse just got the finger from the invisible hand.
