Fuel Sender Unit ???
I thought I may have fixed my fuel sender unit on the 300D, so I waited for level to go below 1/4.
The sender was very dirty and I cleaned it reallly good. All the wires were in tact and connected. Unfortunately it is still not working properly. The light still stays on for low fuel, and the levels don't read properly. Anyone know if there's anything else I can do to repair, or am I looking at a new one soon????

I'd pull it again and use a digital multimeter to check resistance as I manually move the slide up and down. If that is OK, then it must be either 1) the dash indicator, or 2) the connecting wiring.

My fuel gauge used to be jumpy. A couple tankfuls with maintenance dose of Power Service Diesel 911 cleared it up nicely. Not sure how compatible that stuff is with non-dino diesel though.
