don't tell my wife

but my secret to sneaking a few minutes here and there of MB repair is to have little stashes of projects about the house.....Right now I have a drivers seat in the dining room. some window regulators in the basement a piece of molding in the bedroom...and of course plenty of things going on in the garage....

I think my wife would notice a drivers seat in the dining room.

Tell the Truth....

The bigger secret is what you have stored at your girlfriend's house.....

I confess, I have the hard top for my wife's SL stored in the dining room with the cover over it. The way it appears, people just think we have a piano or such under a dustcover.

If my dining room was about two feet longer I'd patiently wait until my wife's next soccer game or errand and POUNCE.....In would come the 15' Adirondack guideboat.....

My wife

I refuse to do what my wife says.........that is...while I am folding my laundry.............

Just the other night I came home from a golf outing...outing was over at 3:30pm...I stumbled in at 10:30pm..of course by taxi, and she was waiting for me with both arms crossed...she asked me why I came home half-drunk and I told her I ran out of money. But I further explained if she would give me some more money I would go back and get really soused...How long was jonah in the belly of the whale? Seems like the same amount of time I have been eating beanie-weenies. Don't laugh they are beginning to taste like chicken.

Fisherman..Thats only half the story

Before I came home...we went to Church Street Station in Orlando...and my buddies told me to wait outside till they paid...So I staggered out and waited...everything was blurry and the ground was spinning...well I heard boots walking up from behind...and you guessed it...a cop! Yikes! He walks up and says, "What the hell you think you are doing standing out here? I turned around and to his surprise I had one hand over one of my eyes...and then I said, "I heard the world turns around every 24 hours..and I am waiting for my house to come by...he wasnt amused. My buddies came out and as I walked off I kept one foot on the curb and one foot on the paved street and I walked this way for a minimum of 10 steps...the cops yells, "Are you drunk?" I said, thank God I thought I was crippled for a minute...

Remind me one day to tell you about the night my wife made me go and get feminine products for her at the grocery store...you will piss your pants..At least everybody in the store did!!

i have spaces for five cars

in my bi level garage. i have one car that doesnt run in it and one that is being partly painted. my wifes car has set outside for about 8 years now. she mostly suffers in silence. every now and then she thinks of it and really lays into me. i mitigate my damages by starting her car so it will warm up before she has to go to work in the cold weather.

one of these days though she is going to say, that car or me will be gone!

til then i am skating on thin ice.

i neglected to say that the balance of the garage is filled with mostly mb diesel parts,. engines, trannys, fenders doors seats rear ends headlight buckets etc etc etc.

LMAO I can't wait to hear the story of buying the fem products.

Anyway, I have a friend that has like 8 cars with 4 of them being MB's. I do all his maintenance for him. Anyway, he has been looking for an SL for about a year now and came over to the house this past Saturday and asked me to go with him to take a look at an '86 560SL. We go get it from the dealer (used car lot) and bring it over to put on the lift to check for rust. He asks if he buys it can he keep it here till X-mas because he says his wife would be pissed if he brings another car home. Anyway, now there is a really nice 560SL sitting in my backyard under a car cover. He bought it and brought it over later that day. I promised to keep the battery charged for him.

Talk about a lot of cars, look at the front of my house. 2 300d's, one 300 sd,a 69' buick special deluxe, mid 60's crysler newport, a crysler 300m, crysler concorde, 65 corvair,97 mercury couger, and a 96 beater/offroader mazda b2300. all camped in front of my house at night. It looks like a party is going on all the time.
