Anyone used this grill?

I bought a new aftermarket grill for the TD and now, 6 months afterwards, the dumb thing has got rust all across the top. Am looking at this grill on ebay and was wondering if anyone here has tried it.

Item #8015623546. Sorry....don't how to post the link.

I think I would like the looks but am wondering about the rust factor or any problems that may arise.

Thanks!

Cheers,

Bill

One simple way to post a link is to simply copy it from the address bar of your web browser and then paste it into your message.

You nailed it... it works! See, simple and straightforward.

Now hopefully we can get some input from someone who knows about that grill.

I like it ok. Just don't need it to rust in 6 months like the aftermarket OEM copy I bought.

Cheers,

Bill

I really don't want to go for it until I hear from someone who has used this grill. Had I known the after market grill was going to rust so quick I would've kept my OEM. Sold the OEM one so re-installing is not an option.

I know what you mean about the big badge. Maybe it'll come off. Maybe I'll just paint my grill black!

Cheers,

Bill

That's only a grill insert. It would replace the plastic you have now, but wouldn't do anything for your rust situation.

I'm not a fan of that style grill at all.

Yeah, I got on using both.

Hey 1983/300cd.....thanks! You're right. That is only an insert. I didn't notice that before.

I guess I'll just paint mine black or just live with it until I can find an OEM. Wish I wouldn't have sold my original.

Cheers,

Bill
