Steel Breather tube seal?

on my 82 300td the steel breather (PCV) tube that runs under the air cleaner and down to the engine block (the turbo drain tube is right next to it). Well the breather tube moves around and slightly leaks oil. I was going to do the oil pan, tube drain and the breather tube at the same time. I don't see a seal listed for sealing up that tube? I'm assuming an o ring is used. Can someone give me a part number or an idea what im dealing with...thanks!

Erik

Erik:

Try this number 006-997-26-45 (seal ring). Yes these are rubber o-rings at either end of the steel tube. It does move some.... be sure to align the tube so the port on the air cleaner fits into it during install of air cleaner. Otherwise, the drips of captured oil vapor will drip in the engine compartment instead of being recaptured in the base. The o-rings fit onto the ports on the air cleaner and the aluminum base of the engine next to the turbo drain tube.
By the way... if you decide to replace the seals on the turbo drain tube, if it is leaking, use some caution. The turbo drain is in 2 pieces the lower piece has the o-rings. Be careful not to bend the upper section of the Turbo drain tube- it will cause a bigger leak. You'll see when you get under there again....
