Last week, my wife accidently refueled the 240D with Kerosene. If I remember correctly, this is only a problem with long term use .... I think it will cause burnt exhaust valves. I discovered this yesterday when I was glancing thru the fuel receipts (6 gallons of k1). I promptly filled-up with #2. My wife assumed that the fuel island that was separate from the gasoline pumps at an unfamiliar Amoco was diesel (I know for certain that they don't even carry diesel). She said that "it sure smelled like diesel because I remember getting it all over my hands". Thank God it wasn't gasoline.
