I hope to get mine running as good as yours. The H/L Doors are cracked and look bad. Will change that when it gets out of paint. Rims need to be redone too. Paint is GONE.

ITs nice to be able to restore this stuff. I remember when I was a college student and couldnt afford to fix my beaters.

Ever try polishing compound? I dunno if that stuff works, I guess youd work it in with a rotary tool or something, could help put some gloss in your paint.

Edit: You mentioned pre-body shop pictures, what was done at the body shop.

I did a little bit, but the car is beyond help. The PO had the pass side repainted, and I am guessing the surface wasnt not prepped correctly and the paint was put on too thick. THe paint has cracked and has little triangles all over the passenger side. I'm going to treat it to a full paint job, back to the Factory Orient Red. I'm pleased with what I have so far, FWIW, I picked this thing up for less than 750 bucks!

Except for some minor body stuff it looks great. I really like that color. Its not something you'd see everyday. Nice car.

Thanks Seth! I thought Orient Red was a rather popular color, along with Champagne and Dark Blue...I am almost tempted to paint the car the same color as the Marauder (see car in front of the MB) that car as metallic in it and a little darker.
