Mileage badge question

I just got my 250k and 500k badges and was wondering what is the proper or at least common placement for them on the grill? High, low, left, right? Keep in mind that in just two short years (MB gods willing) I'll be adding the 750k badge.

Also, the boxes were big enough to hold several dinner plates and they were fedex-ed to me. A lot of expense for no revenue. But they sure are nice!

The revenue came from those who bought new cars, me thinks.
The plaques smack of marketing PR from the days when people were proud when their cars hit XXX,XXX miles or km.
I wonder if there is much appeal for these outside the diesel owners group? I never see many cars with badges these days and there are lots of MB's on the road in No Calif. I used to see a 123 diesel locally with 4 or 5 different badges on it and I wondered if the air flow wasn't being compromised?

I also received a couple of the nice big boxed certificates and plaques, they are impressive aren't they? I plan to put them high on the grill (when and if I get around to it)

I usually put them around the "three-o-clock" mark or "nine-o-clock" mark on the grille, but not quite out to the ends. Good luck on the 750K badge! My 300SD wears the 250K and 500K badges (old style).

I placed my 500k badge in the 3 o'clock position, a little to the right of center. Here's a pic, although you will have to forgive the ugly car it is attached to !

Has there always been a 750K badge available? Seems like when I got mine the only options were 250, 500 and 1 million.

Happy oil-burning!
