HELLO EVERYONE. ive got a 81 300td.. the engine was shot, so i also had another 84 300d.. both of these cars were turbo,, so took out the engine and the trans from the 84 and swapped it out with my td... now i got everything to run right , the only thing i screwed up on was the rear suspension... i originally thought i would be able to swap out that hydraulic pump on the motor, but not all engines have that area to mount the pump. so anyway .. my main question is how can i forget about hydraulic, and go to regular (sedan like) suspension... i think i need stronger springs and heavy duty shocks... but how and where can i get it from.. thanks.

A couple of points to note.
First, do a search on SLS, hydraulic, etc.... for gobs of info on this. Number two, I don't think you're going to like what you find.... ![]()
