The boost control device on the driver's fender in my 90 350 sdl drops 1 or 2 drops of oil / week. I think all systems are functioning correctly as I get 12 sec 0 to 60 times using my wristwatch to measure. Am I headed towards some type of repair?

I assume your talking about oil dripping from the Wastegate. If the turbo oil ring seal is bad you run the risk of a run away diesel. Not to mention the possible loss of lubrication for the turbo.

From what I have read you can buy repair parts for around $25 to a whole drop in replacement for about $250.

I would at least start carrying a CO2 fire extinguisher or a block of wood to block the air intake just in case.

Sorry, I am talking about the little thing on the driver's side fender that is connected to the alda. It has a lot of vac lines coming to it as well as 2 electrical lines. I understand it as being the overboost protection device.
