this is one

of the simpliest jobs on a 240. you will need a 3/8 drive ratchet, a socket extension and i believe it is a 13mm socket. take off the accelerator linkage and push it aside, if automatic, remove the vac control unit or the lines, on the top of the cover, undo the four (i think) bolts holding the valve cover down and remove it. when you have the new gasket, just put it around the bottom edge and reinstall being careful not to fold over any parts of the gasket and put it on.

good luck
