Strange, both my 616 and 617 are on the pass. side, which I believe is the "standard" location.

Brian nailed it. I just did this job yesterday because the old cord was shorted out. Luckly I had a Worldpac cord that I didn't use on my SDL, so I stuck it on the SD.

Whoever put the starter on that side should be shot!:mad:

Come to think of it, the original ad did mention a block heater.

Not something I really need, in the Florida Keys.

Even more of a problem back in the UK where starter was very close to the steering box, that made changing the starter motor a royal pain in the rear.

They drive on the other side of the road but sit on the other side of the car to compensate :)

Just an aside-that 'Fastlane Search Feature' is pretty clunky, imo.
