Who knows their Diesels in the Bay area?

I am in Washington state and am looking at a 72 220D in the Bay Area (see the thread http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=140022

I am new to these cars, so I don't know all of the quirks and problem areas to look for. If you know your old MB diesels I would be glad to compensate you to go take a look at this car for me and give me your "professional" opinion.
