a/c blower motor or heater blower - 300sdl

- this 86 300 sdl has a blower that is working very sporadically - makes this clicking noise - blows like hell and clicks - shuts off ... etc. - what does this sound like 2 u guys - the a/c blower motor, the heater blower, or the regulator ? what am i looking at here 2 fix this - please help - i am trying 2 sell this car asap !

sounds like it is pulling tomany amps and tripping the cuircut breaker

Hello!

Try to push the MAX button after it shuts off. This way you bridge the regulator and apply 12V directly to the blower. If then the blower starts working again it is either the PBU, but most likely the regulator.

If it does not blow even when you press the MAX button, since it still works every now and then, I would check the brushes and clean the commutator on the motor.

Of course I might be completely wrong as well
