Apparently mine wanted 2qts of oil. Not sure how it leaked out / burned off, but I was 2Qt's low yesterday. Yow..

I usually just "splurge" and buy her an expensive car-wash at one of those detailing places.. That, or I fix something that's been wrong with the car. Last year, I got all the rust repaired.

A New Rear Brake Job

I've had the Discs and Pads sitting around for a few weeks now and just need some downtime and reasonable ambient temperature to get the job done.

Merry Christmas everybody

I anticipate giving it a treat of Mobile-1 gear lube in the differential, a K-1 upgrade and Mobile-1 trans fluid tonight.

Nice looking wagon, moonblink. Welcome to the club.

My 82 300TD is getting a keyless entry/alarm/remote start system! I've already got remote start and alarm working well, and I'm waiting on an additional part to finish the keyless entry. Fun stuff.

It also got a new starter the other day and new tranny fluid/filter.

Merry X-mas, car.

peace,
sam

16v is getting an oil change and SLS control valve.
2.5 turbo gets checked to make sure the nylon cover is still keeping snow out of the interior, also giving it some D-con.
(heck, all the cars should get D-con this weekend, I found mouse evidence in the trunk of my daily driver recently)

The 300D just got a new voltage regulator and a new air filter, as well as some sealing of the oil separator to try to keep the oil off the new filter. We'll see how well that works. I also disassembled and cleaned the fuel level sensor (seemed to help gauge accuracy).

The 240D is getting some floor mats to protect the carpets. I just fixed the power antenna (again) and added a ground wire to the instrument cluster to cure the jumpy instruments. Also, I'm shopping for two new tires and an alignment. I'm getting some uneven front tire wear. Hopefully it just needs an alignment, not control arms.

Happy holidays everyone!
