Replaced the 300TD evaporator a couple of years ago.

Now I'm replacing the evaporator in My Daughters 240D this week. We just removed the center console and dash this evening ( about 4 hours of work, but I've done it before) . A little Daughter and Father time together.
I have 77 Pictures already for each step of the way. I will continue and make a post on the entire job. IF YOU GUYS CAN STOP YOURSELVES FROM REPLYING BEFORE I COMPLETE THE POST ( I'll post a stop until I have the post complete.) Is there a limit on the number of pictures to a post??? I figure about 100 or so. Step by step instructions.

Of course I broke a couple of things doing the job. The passenger vent, trying to remove the flex hose. The center vent rubber manifold, just started to rip while removing. The AC control mounting bracket is broken and ordered. And I ordered the wrong vacuum element from Phil. I though the 1983 240D had the floor vent element. IT ONLY HAS THE FRESH AIR VENT, AND THAT IS ALL.
