need an intake manifold for my 240d

I am looking for an intake manifold from a 77 240D with the vacuum controlled injection pump. Any info would be great.

A 77 is not going to have a pneumatically controlled injection pump. You need 76 or earlier 200D, 220D or 240D for that manifold.

Thanks, I was told 77 but 76 and earlier that does make more sense.

A little Turboing maybe?

Hi Turbo 240,
76 and earlier is correct for this manifold in the US. Mercedes ran the Vac IP latter in other markets. I pulled mine from a 77 240D from Mexico. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for another one for you. If you need any more info on my turbo setup feel free to PM me.
Cheers, Chris

How are you going to handle fuel enrichment for the turbo?

raising the ammount of fuel injected is not a good way to do this.. because you will allways have too much fuel until the turbo boost comes up...

That's why I'm asking, to see what his plans are or if he is just going to throw a turbo on it.
