No, this forum isn't nicer than others, you jerk!

Just kidding, it is pretty friendly.

Carrameow - guy with crazy capitalization habits who works on his car late at night and posts rambling philosophical questions relating to diesels

You obviously don't spend much time over on OD. If you're gay or Jewish, that part of the forum wasn't too friendly yesterday.
Maybe if you're gay, Jewish, and a dieselhead, it's ok over here.

Seen better, but it's ok here. Plenty of technical knowledge and civility that lacks in most other auto forums.

CARRAMEOW: CRAZY SOB THAT WILL TAKE DOWN AN EXHAUST SYSTEM ON A VOLVO AT 2AM IN THE MIDDLE OF MANHATTAN AND ALMOST GET HIMSELF ARRESTED BY THE POLICE IN THE PROCESS.

That's the only member that I know.

Yep, it's pretty friendly as long as I'm in a good mood and no one tries to sell me on their left wing politics.

Have a great day,

This place is OK. I go to about 20 auto sites (depending... sometimes only once a year for a question) and it's not much different, other then Mercedes instead of old Fords or whatever.

About the friendliest forums I go to are survival forums, but somehow I don't think many of you would like them, lol. Good people though... once you get to know them, and I've done a little hunting and shooting with some of them, so it's all good. Kinda weird to meet somebody you've known online for years, but I'm friends with a few of them now.

This forum is pretty friendly, when we want to be! Oil threads and WVO threads sometimes get pretty heated, thats about it compared to OD though its nothing.

Anyway don't get me going about OD, modding that forum is like nailing jello to a tree. The average political thread overthere is at about a 7th grade level. Plus certain factions like to bait eachother then come yelling to me when they get their feelings hurt.

However if you stay away from the politics it is a pretty good group.
