The air in pre-filter, quantity a function of orientation of pre-filter, is normal. This air is not pumped, but remains in filter. No problem. You can't expel it because the air sits at the top of the fuel (and stay's there).

depending on how your filter is positioned 1/3 may be a lot or may be normal....like has been said its common to have some in there. The fact it runs fine under full load (no loss of power) says you have no reason for concern.

Mine is positioned such that I have little to no air in my prefilter.

If it's running okay forget about it and enjoy your ride.

Have a great day,
