1984 190D 5 speed transmission upgrade
Hello All,
I have a 1984 190D 2.2 with 205,000 miles and an automatic transmission that is slipping all the time. The good news is that I have a parts car with a good automatic transmission. The better news is that I have access to a friends 190E parts car that has a good 5 speed manual gearbox. Will the 5 speed bolt up to the 2.2 diesel engine? Has anyone out there done this? How did it work out? |
