I need a bit of assistance to determine the final drive ratio on a 1984 500 SEL.

I've found and bought one of these from a parts car out in Indiana and, now I've got some concerns that I can't use it.........if it's a 2.24.

It's all boxed up at the seller's place and I'd rather not ask him to take it all apart and look for numbers, if at all possible.


Does anyone know, for certain, which ratio is in this diff?
